Briggs Raptor Engine Rebuilds

All engines are cleaned, disassembled , and inspected upon arrival at MPS. Once all parts are analyzed and all measurements are taken a decision is then made of what needs to be done to the motor. Some motors may need different work done to them depending on many determining factors. While many racers put ten to twelve races on an engine , some put six to eight races on an engine. With this being said, the cost of an engine rebuild can vary from engine to engine. Most rebuilds will run $ 295.00 which will include NEW gaskets, Piston, Rings, Valve Springs, Valve Spring Retainers, Oil of dyno session and Labor. If prior inspection determined the Valve Train area, Guides, Valves etc. then the rebuild will be $ 345.00. If any additional work needs to be done , or parts need to be replaced than listed above, the customer will be contacted before work is performed. Customers should provide contact information to MPS so that work can be performed in a timely manner.

New Engines

All new Engines come with a complete exhaust system (in box ,for shipping purposes) clutch guard and shipped to address supplied by owner of the engine only. No engines will be sent to PO BOX . All engines must be paid for prior to shipping , Sorry , NO EXCEPTIONS.

Protest and Tear Downs

MPS knows how it feels to take a new motor to the track and win then they want to protest. MPS takes this as a compliment and so should you. When your fast it gonna happen sooner or later. If and when this happens MPS will reassemble your engine at NO COST to you, with the exception of needed gaskets for reassembly. If the customer request the engine to be freshened up while its in the shop, normal charges apply. The customer will be responsible for shipping charges to and from MPS.

Shipping

MPS will ship your engines via UPS to the address supplied by the customer. Please be sure to give MPS a date that you need your motor to be back to you. MPS always does everything they can to make it happen. if you would like your package to be insured more than $ 100.00 it is the customers responsibility to give this information to MPS prior to shipping.UPS charges $ 1.00 per hundred after the first one hundred dollars. Insuring a $ 1500.00 engine will cost $14.00 above the cost of shipping if you desire insurance. This charge is UPS , not MPS so please let us know how you would like to handle this before shipping.

Orders

All orders will be processed in the order received. Please call MPS to get your engine rebuild or new engine order on the calendar in advance. This procedure helps maintain accuracy of engines getting back to you at the time agreed upon prior to arrival of engines. While MPS will do everything they can to sometimes squeeze you in when you are in a pinch, sticking to the above procedure is the goal. All Orders shall be paid for before Shipping and NO CODS.
